Amsterdam’s public transportation is operated by a company called GVB, and they offer day passes, week passes, and single-ride tickets for their bus, tram, and metro lines.

Day passes are valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase and allow unlimited rides on all GVB lines.

Week passes are valid for 7 days from the time of purchase and also allow unlimited rides.

Single-ride tickets can be purchased for €2.90 and are valid for 1 hour from the time of purchase. So whether you’re staying for a day or a week, be sure to purchase the pass that best suits your needs.
